In the director’s childhood, she spends a lot of time together with her uncle Markku. Markku is a multi-talented composer and an artist. Suddenly, Markku disappears without explanation. After withdrawing to his self-designed artist house on the outskirts of a small town in Finland, Markku produces an immense amount of art, storing all of it in his house, without anyone knowing. Now, the director finds his hidden world and starts to make a film about his life – to her surprise together with him.
